This year, Chingay Parade returns to the F1 Pit Building on 23 & 24 February 2024. It is one of the biggest events in Singapore featuring thousands of performers and plenty of beautiful parade floats.
This year’s theme is “Blossom” which signifies the growth, transformation, and flourishing of both individuals and communities and Chingay’s aspirations for like-minded people to come together to blossom as one community.
If you’re planning to catch the parade, here are the essential guide and tips you need to know.

How to go to Chingay Parade
By Car: The nearest carparks are Millenia Walk and Suntec City. From there, walk to F1 Pit Building. There’s no drop-off point at F1 Pit Building.
By Taxi: The nearest drop-off point is Millenia Walk. Alternative drop-off points are Millenia Tower, Marina Square, Pan Pacific Singapore and Conrad Centennial Singapore. From there, walk to F1 Pit Building. There’s no drop-off point at F1 Pit Building.
By MRT: Take the Downtown Line or Circle Line and alight at Promenade Station. Alternatively, you can also take the MRT to Bayfront Station or Esplanade Station. From there, walk to F1 Pit Building.

What to see at Chingay Parade
There will be a line-up of exciting performances, such as singing performances, dancing performances, skateboard and parkour showcase, elaborate costume showcase, and various creatively-designed floats.
This year’s Chingay will feature 3,500 performers, 17 community-made floats, 5 large Chingay floats and a 230m interactive floor projection, which is Singapore’s longest floor projection ever for a street parade!

PAssionArts Street
A section of the event venue at F1 Pit Building will be transformed into a PAssionArts Street.
This space will feature community art installations and interactive art activities collaboratively crafted by residents and community artists.
Chingay National Education (NE) – Blossoming Art Installation
Also located around the event venue at F1 Pit Building, is a section called Chingay National Education (NE) – Blossoming Art Installation.
This section features blossom-themed artistic installations, crafted from recycled materials by the students from seven primary and secondary schools.
Beyond the parade: Chingay @ Heartlands
Chingay@Heartlands are events held by Community Clubs to bring the festival closer to residents.
Performances and Chingay floats will be parading through various estates over several weekends from 25 Feb 2024 onwards.
