Looking for indoor places to bring your toddler in Singapore, especially on rainy or scorching days?
These are some of the indoor spots my toddler has visited and absolutely loves, from free public spaces to paid play areas that are totally worth it.
All of them are fun, safe, and air-conditioned for comfortable play and learning.
I’ll keep updating this list as my toddler explores more places around Singapore, so save this page for future ideas!
1. Children’s Museum Singapore
Designed for children aged 12 and below, this museum spans two storeys with interactive galleries for every age.

Older kids can visit themed galleries such as:
- Into the Hawkerverse: Explore hawker life from the past, present and future.
- Ahoy Singapore: Sail 200 years into Singapore’s history.
- The Marketplace: Step into old Singapore and experience life in a bygone era.
- My Neighbourhood: Design your own stamp at the post office and explore familiar local scenes.

Located at Gardens by the Bay, the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest are fully air-conditioned conservatories, perfect for a calm indoor stroll with your toddler while staying out of the heat.
We like visiting the Flower Dome for its colourful floral displays that change with the seasons, and the Cloud Forest for its cool mist and the dramatic indoor waterfall that always amazes children. Both domes are stroller-friendly and comfortably shaded throughout.
We love the conservatories so much that we signed up for the Friends of the Gardens membership — we’ve been members since 2019 and counting.

5. VivoCity
One of Singapore’s most family-friendly malls, VivoCity has plenty to keep toddlers entertained, rain or shine.
We like heading up to the rooftop playground on Level 3 when the weather is good. But on hot or rainy days, we usually spend time at library@harbourfront for some quiet indoor play. My daughter also loves stopping by the pet shop to look at the adorable animals before we grab a bite at one of the many family-friendly restaurants. The baby room here is spacious and clean, which makes outings much easier.

6. Jewel Canopy Park

Located on the top level of Jewel Changi Airport, the Canopy Park is a lush indoor wonderland perfect for toddlers to explore while staying cool indoors. The entire area is covered, air-conditioned, and surrounded by greenery with views of the Rain Vortex.
We like coming here for a relaxing indoor stroll, especially when we want to enjoy Jewel without the crowds. My daughter is still too young for the slides and nets, but she loves playing at the Foggy Bowls, watching the waterfall, and walking through the misty garden paths surrounded by flowers.

7. Digital Light Canvas by teamLab @ Marina Bay Sands
Located inside The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, the Digital Light Canvas by teamLab is a beautiful indoor digital art installation where light and motion come together.
We turned our toddler’s colouring into a flower she could see on the giant digital floor. She had a blast chasing everything that caught her eye, from butterflies and frogs to crocodiles and flowers. It’s a short but magical experience that toddlers really enjoy.
