FunVee Packages
The FunVee Bus has 3 packages as follow:
FunVee™ Open Top Bus City & Marina Sightseeing | FunVee™ Hop-On Hop-Off City Sightseeing Bus Tour | 2-Day Singapore FunVee™ Open Top Bus Tour With Walking Tour | |
---|---|---|---|
Duration | 2 hours | 1 day | 2 days |
Key summary | Sit-down tour | Flexible Hop-on Hop-off at 20+ bus stops | Hop-on Hop-off Plus Walking Tour |
Routes | Marina & City | Marina & City | Marina & City |
FunVee™ Open Top Bus City & Marina Sightseeing is a great option for people who has only half a day for sightseeing while in Singapore. In the 2-hour tour, all you need to do is simply sit down and enjoy the ride around Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay, Chinatown, Botanic Gardens and Orchard Road.
For people who want complete flexibility, the best option is FunVee™ Hop-On Hop-Off City Sightseeing Bus Tour, a 1-day pass that lets you enjoy unlimited rides on the FunVee Hop-on Hop-off Bus on both Marina route and City route.
You can hop-on and hop-off at any of the 20+ bus stops, or you can sit down on the bus for however long you like.
Meanwhile, 2-Day Singapore FunVee™ Open Top Bus Tour With Walking Tour is a 2-day pass that allows you unlimited hop-on hop-off rides, plus walking tour at Chinatown and Little India. This pass is perfect for people who have 2 days for sightseeing, and people who want to understand more about the history and culture of Chinatown and Little India.
In my opinion, if you want a hop-on hop-off experience, get the 2-Day Singapore FunVee™ Open Top Bus Tour With Walking Tour instead of FunVee™ Hop-On Hop-Off City Sightseeing Bus Tour. The former is only slightly more expensive but include 2 walking tours and 2-day pass.

What Can I See on FunVee Bus?
City Route
The first iconic landmarks that you will encounter regardless whether you take City Route or Marina Route is the Singapore Flyer. Opened in 2008, Singapore Flyer is one of the largest Giant Observation Wheels in the world. If you hold the Hop-on Hop off pass, you can alight here.
The next stop is Esplanade, the iconic durian-shaped theatre. Here, you can catch various concerts from local as well as international artists.
Not enough time to watch concert? Head to the outdoor area to enjoy a view of Marina Bay, or head to Makansutra Gluttons Bay to enjoy local street food.
Next is Clifford Pier. Here, you can visit the iconic Merlion and take photo of the stunning Marina Bay.
Next on the City Route is Lau Pa Sat, a hawker centre with unique octagonal shape and Victorian columns. Lau Pa Sat was gazetted as a national monument in 1973. Do not forget to order satay.
The FunVee bus will bring you through Chinatown, a must-visit place in Singapore. Here, you can find historic temples, traditional shophouses, Michelin-worthy dishes and scrumptious street food and snacks. Read my guide to Chinatown Singapore.
Next is Clarke Quay, a bustling nightlife spot, which is pretty quiet during the day. Here, you can take selfies with Old Hill Street Police Station, the Insta-worthy building with colorful windows.
Adrenaline seekers will love the Slingshot ride at Clarke Quay. Nature lovers can take a short walk to Fort Canning Park and enjoy the tranquility amongst the ruins from the past. Read my guide to Fort Canning Park.
Next, the FunVee bus will bring you through Orchard Road, the famous shopping belt of Singapore. During my visit, Orchard Road was decorated with beautiful Christmas ornaments.
As the FunVee makes its way back to Marina Square, you will pass by the City Hall area.
When you get a glimpse of Singapore Flyer, you’re back at Marina Square, the starting point of FunVee bus.
Marina Route
Marina Route goes through Singapore Flyer, Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Chinatown, Clarke Quay, and Bugis.
What to Expect From the Walking Tours
If you book the 2-Day Singapore FunVee™ Open Top Bus Tour With Walking Tour, your ticket comes with 2-day hop-on hop-off pass, and complimentary walking tours to Chinatown and Little India.
The walking tours will be led by experienced tour guides who are registered with Singapore Tourism Board.
At Chinatown, you will have the opportunity to visit historic religious landmarks, including Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, Sri Mariamman Temple and Masjid Jamae Chulia, as well as other places of interest.
At Little India, you will visit Little India Arcade, Indian Heritage Centre, the busy street market, and other places of interest.
Conclusion
FunVee Bus is a great option for people who want to visit a lot of places within a short period of time. It prevents you from getting lost trying to figure out how to get to a certain place by public transport.
In terms of cost, it’s definitely much cheaper than taking a taxi to visit all of the places visited by FunVee bus.
Lastly, getting on an open-top double decker bus is a really fun experience. I think everyone needs to do it at least once in their life.
