Pan Pacific Singapore’s award-winning buffet restaurant, Edge, has just launched the new “Sunday Funday Brunch” on 27 April 2025.
The all-new brunch showcases an extensive spread of gourmet delights, captivating live performances, a vibrant Kids Play Area with special treats and a chocolate fondue station, along with the option to add free-flow Champagne and other alcoholic beverages.
And the best part? The dining time is extended until 3.30pm, so the whole family can feast, play and have a great time!
I went for the Sunday Funday Brunch on launch date with my spouse and toddler. And here’s my experience.
Kids Play Area
First, let’s explore the Kids Play Area. This cozy and colourful section is thoughtfully designed for little ones. Bright tables, chairs, and soft pillows fill the space, while a foam-padded floor ensures a safer environment for young children to roam and play freely.
The area features two charming play tents, offering a fun hideaway for kids to enjoy. A variety of toys and colouring books are available to keep them entertained, along with a cartoon movie screening to complete the experience.
Adding to the excitement, there’s even a special kids’ buffet featuring a tempting selection of cookies, candies, and a delightful chocolate fondue!
My 13-month-old daughter absolutely loved the tent, the toys and the cartoon movie screening. She skipped the kids’ buffet, though, as she’s still a little too young for candies and chocolates.

Live Band Performances
The Live Band Performances is a new addition to the Sunday Brunch experience.
I’ve experienced the brunch both with and without the band, and without a doubt, the live band totally transforms the atmosphere, bringing the afternoon to life.
The energy was incredible; everyone was dancing and grooving to the music. The highlight of the afternoon was when guests and crews formed a line, winding their way through the restaurant to the lively beats. It was such a fun and unforgettable moment!
I’ve never experienced a brunch this vibrant before, and I absolutely loved every second of it. Even my 13-month-old was clapping her hands and moving her body!

Food
Now, let’s talk about the food!
Edge is truly a Food Theatre when it comes to the amount of varieties it has! At the Local section, there’s a live Nyonya laksa station where your laksa is prepared on demand.
Right next to it is the roasted meat section where you can get roasted Peking duck wrapped in egg crepes together with leek, cucumber and hoisin sauce, as well as other roasted chicken and char siew.
Next, there’s a Penang Char Kway Teow live station which is Chef Andy’s Signature dish and it is my personal favourite dish at Edge.
There are also Signature Salt-baked Crab with salted egg yolk sauce and chilli crab sauce, whole steamed grouper fish, salted egg yolk tiger prawn, braised Dong Bo pork belly, seasonal greens, rendang, fried rice, assorted dim sum.

At the carving station, you can find 12-hr slow roasted gigantic Veal Leg, Grass Fed Leg of Lamb, and Honey Glazed House Smoked Gammon Ham, as well as roasted potatoes, grilled prawns and baked oysters.

Hidden at the corner between pasta and pizza station is the Chef’s Special Live Station serving pan-seared Hokkaido scallop which I highly recommend. Next to it, you can find Egg Benedict with smoked salmon as well as breakfast essentials such as hash brown, bacon, sausage, sautéed mushroom, potato wedges and tortilla chips.

There’s a live Pasta station where you can choose your pasta type as well as the sauce. The pasta is made fresh in-house; if you’re lucky, you can even see the fresh pasta coming out from the machine right at the counter. And because the pasta is cooked to order, expect waiting in line during peak period.

There’s also a pizza station where fresh pizza is made and baked right at the restaurant. There are round as well as square pizzas.

Not to be missed are the duck rillette and foie gras, often tucked away at the cheese counter. These crowd favorites tend to disappear quickly, so be sure to grab them early!

Personally, I was impressed with the Japanese section. The sashimi (salmon and tuna) and maki have always been there and while they’re good, I’m more attracted to the new dishes such as Okonomiyaki, Chawanmushi and Tonkatsu. The Chawanmushi comes with premium ingredients, including fish roe and crab meat! Meanwhile, the Tonkatsu comes with tonkatsu sauce and mayonnaise sauce.

Seafood has always been a staple at Edge. Available during brunch are: Boston Lobster, Freshly Shucked Oyster, Snow Crab Leg, Tiger Prawn, Half Shell Scallops, Sea Conch, Black Mussel & Crawfish.

At the center island section, you can find various cured fish (smoked halibut and salmon gravlax), cold cuts (Pan Pacific Home Cured Beef Salami, Back Forest Ham, Pastrami, Mortadella, Paprika Lyoner, Virginia Ham & Jamon Iberico Ham), boutique cheeses, antipasto, salad, as well as char-grilled sausages.

If you think that’s about it, well, not quite. There’s also an Indian section and Malay section with live satay station! Really, there is too much food at the Edge!

Drinks
The basic package comes with inclusion of chilled fruit juices and soft drinks. Meanwhile, the optional add-on allows you to get free-flow alcoholic beverages including Taittinger Brut Réserve Champagne, house red and white wine, Tiger Beer, a selection of house spirits, and a selection of cocktails.

Desserts
Save some space for desserts because there are so many desserts that you don’t want to miss! First, there’s a live cotton candy station!
Then, there’s a chocolate fondue section, a cake section, a chocolate bar section and assorted ice cream!
