How to Donate Your SingapoRediscovers Voucher to Help the Underprivileged

How to Donate Your SingapoRediscovers Voucher to Help the Underprivileged

Please share this article if you think it's awesome!

Back in December 2020, Singapore’s government issued $100 tourism voucher called SingapoRediscovers Voucher to every Singaporeans aged 18 and above.

To be honest, the name is really hard to remember. Some people call it Singapore Rediscover Voucher, others call it Singapore Discover Voucher, some say SG Rediscover Voucher, others say Singapore Discovery Voucher. I’ll just keep it simple by calling it SRV.

The SRV can be redeemed at attractions, hotels and tours. The voucher can only be used by the person who received it; it can’t be transferred to another person.

So, what if you’re not keen to use the voucher at all, does it mean you’re stuck with it? No! Actually, you can donate it to the underprivileged! I’ve listed the websites where you can make donation using your voucher.

PS: SRV validity is extended to 31 March 2022, but booking must be made by 31 December 2021.

Looking for ideas on what to do in Singapore? Here’s my guide on the best things to do in Singapore.

But first, here’s an IMPORTANT note!

When booking the tickets, at the payment stage remember to choose to pay with SingapoRediscovers Voucher and login with your Singpass FIRST, before keying your card number.

DO NOT skip the Singpass login step, or you’ll end up paying the entire amount with your card. Some readers of mine skipped this step, and they had to cancel the transaction and request for refund. I hope you won’t have to go through the same hassle.

For easy reference, I have compiled all the buttons on each platform’s payment page that you should click to redeem the SingapoRediscovers Voucher.

Hi Lee, firstly, my name is Eva and I'm not a man. Secondly, on the payment stage, if you had correctly chosen "Use SingapoRediscovers Voucher," you will be directed SRV website where you need to choose "Redeem Voucher" and then login with your SingPass. The system will not prompt you to pay with your debit card if you had chosen correctly. Thirdly, since you had already paid with your debit card, I suggest that you cancel your order through Klook platform, or contact Klook team to get them to refund you. Hope you get it sorted out soon. Take care!
